Arthur Wells 1912 - 2003 Arthur Wells, 91, of Hillsborough, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, December 12, 2003. Born in Albert, NB, November 3, 1912, he was the son of the late James and Lillian (Graves) Wells. Arthur was a kiln operator with Canada Gypsum Co. in Hillsborough for 35 years. He attended Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with his hands and was quite the handyman and he also enjoyed hunting. He is survived by a daughter, Shirley Fenton and her husband Stanley of Hillsborough; son, Ralph "Bob" G. Wells and his wife Ellen of Hillsborough; three grandchildren, Shayne Fenton (Bonny), Stephen Wells (Dorothy) and Scott Wells (Julie); four great grandchildren, Sean, Emma, Stephanie and Corey; and by several nieces and nephews. Arthur was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is predeceased by his wife Doris L. Wells in 1999; a grandson, R. Gordon Wells. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Sunday, December 14, 2003 from 2 to 4pm only. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Monday, December 15, 2003 at 2 pm with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery in the spring.
