Mary Felice Melanson 1919 - 2004 The death of Mary Felice Melanson of Moncton occurred peacefully on January 3, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital. Felice was born in Moncton on September 7, 1919, the daughter of Anselme H. and Mary (O'Brien) Melanson. She was employed with the Superannuation Branch of Human Resources Development Canada upon her retirement. Felice is survived by one brother, Victor Melanson of Montreal; a nephew, Brian Melanson of Montreal; a niece, Karen (William) Jarvis of Moncton; her sister in law, Mrs. Virginia Melanson of Moncton; and by great nephew, John Jarvis of Toronto; and great-nieces Kathleen Jarvis of Halifax, Caroline Jarvis and Jennifer Jarvis both of Moncton; cousins and many good friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Raymond Melanson and Hubert Melanson and her sister, Estelle Melanson. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League of St Augustine's Parish; a life member of the Westmorland Historical Society and a life member of the National Federation of Public Service Employees. The family will receive visitors at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530), 1177 Salisbury Road, MONCTON on Tuesday, January 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church, 340 Dominion Street, Moncton on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at 11 am followed by a reception in the Church Basement.
