Patricia May Maxwell FREDERICTON, NB - The death of Patricia May Maxwell of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, January 11, 2004. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Tingley) deVarennes; the wife of Elwood Maxwell. Patricia was a member of the First Wesleyan Church and was very active in many of the church activities. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Survived by her husband, Elwood; one son, Scott (Patricia) of Rusagonis, NB; two daughters, Diane Maxwell of Riverview, NB, and Shelley Wallace (Brian) of Yarmouth, NS; four grandchildren, Geoffrey, Stephanie, Nicole and Brandon. Visitation will be held at the First Wesleyan Church, 131 Duncan Lane on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, at 2:00 pm at the First Wesleyan Church. Rev. Karl Ingersoll will officiate. A private interment will be in the Fairhaven Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
