Ernest Joseph LeBlanc

Ernest Joseph LeBlanc 1923 - 2004 Ernest Joseph LeBlanc, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Born in Notre Dame, NB on June 1, 1923, he was the son of the late Arthur and Diane (Hebert) LeBlanc. Ernest was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator, he was a veteran of WWII. He is survived by wife, Adele Fournier; daughters, Louise (John) Yerxa of Fredericton and Norma (Patrick) Bourque of Moncton; sons, Ronald (Virle), Ernest Jr, (Paula) and Marcel (Tina) all of Moncton; brother, Almo (Mary) of Bouctouche; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter; also by five stepchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Lile St. George; sisters Rita, Doris and Ella; and brother Leonard. At his request there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 will be holding a prayer service at The Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St. on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 10:15 am, with a memorial service at 10:30 am with Rev. Tim Guptill officiating. Donations made to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Poppy Fund, at P.O. Box 164 Moncton, NB E1C-8K9 would be appreciated by the family.
