James Kenneth (Kenny) Noel The death of James Kenneth (Kenny) Noel of Riverview and formerly of Jacquet River occurred Friday, January 23, at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 72 surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. Born in Jacquet River, the son of the late Edward Noel and Kathleen (Chambers). Kenny was employed by CN/VIA Rail for nearly 35 years as a Conductor/Brakeman. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary church, Riverview. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Avelda of 47 years, his five daughters, and two sons. They are Linda Savoie (Wayne) of Moncton, Brenda Donnelly (Erwin) of Jacquet River, Nancy Godin (Paul) of Jacquet River, Sandra Daudlin (Shelby) of Oakville, Ont., Kevin Noel of Riverview, Norma Brooks (Charles) of Riverview, and Rodney Noel (Dianna) of Riverview and grandsons, Nathan Savoie, Adam and Grant Donnelly, Benjamin Brooks and granddaughter, Brianna Noel - Preston. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Pearl Noel of Jacquet River, Hazel Lavigne of Jacquet River, Violet Rochette of Moosecreek, Ont. Germain Miller of Montreal and a brother, Albert Noel of Jacquet River as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, William (Billy). Visitation held from St. Gabriels Church Sunday and Monday morning from 9 until time of funeral. His funeral service will be held from St. Gabriels Church, Jacquet River, Monday, January 26, at 11am., officiated by Father Benoit with burial in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne Savoie, Erwin Donnelly, Shelby Daudlin, Charles Brooks, Gary Driscoll, Brian Driscoll. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons Nathan Savoie, Adam & Grant Donnelly and Delphis Lavigne, Ron Bourque, Albert Noel, Randy Savoie, Laurie Sturgeon.
