Ronnie Bourgeois SHEDIAC, NB - Ronnie Bourgeois, 65, of Paturel Street, Shediac passed away at home on Saturday, January 24, 2004 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Waltham, MASS, November 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Alex Bourgeois and the late Christine Poirier. A former broadcaster with C.K.C.W. for over 30 years he was known as " The Little General". He was an active member of the Shediac Lions Club and was honored in June 2003 with the Judge Brian Stevenson Fellowship Award. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Nancy-Lee Bourgeois of Moncton; five daughters, Kelly Michaud (Pierre), Roxanne Bourgeois (Jean-Pierre Boudreau) all of Shediac, Karen McNulty, Bobbi-Jo Bourgeois, Billi-Jo Gagnon (Martin) all of Moncton; nine grandchildren, Tiffaney, Candace, Nicholas, Meagan, Tylor, Stephanie, Samantha, Ashley, Chantal; a great granddaughter, Kiarra and by two special aunts, Lorraine Matthews of Waltham MASS, Irene Hebert of Yarmouth, MASS., and by several cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Rhonda and by a sister, Joan Bourgeois. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., no visitation the day of funeral service. The funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 from Frenette Funeral Home, Shediac. Following the funeral service a reception will be held at the Shediac Lions Club, Sackville Street, Shediac. In his memory, donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
