Chantal Babineau Chantal Babineau, 63, of Mill Road, Moncton, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2004 at The Moncton Hospital. Born September 27, 1940 in Edmundston, NB, she was the daughter of Jeanne Lagacé and the late Alger Picard. Besides her mother of Edmundston, she is survived by her two daughters, Lucie Harper (James) of Moncton, Anne Babineau (Jean) of Oromocto; her two sons, André (Barb) of Fredericton, Marc of Ottawa; her sister, Lise Avalis of Moncton; her brother, Serge (Marjolaine) of Edmundston; her four grandchildren, Michael, Julien, Christian, Sébastien; and her former husband, Oscar Babineau. She is predeceased by her brothers Yves, and Alger "Jr". The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 2, 2004 at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The family will receive relatives, and friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, following cremation, will be in GrandeDigue.
