McNUTT, Emily Mae – 62, Great Village, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 at home. Born Jan. 5, 1947 in East Village, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Freda (Rogers) Adams. Emily was very community minded and thoroughly enjoyed volunteering with church suppers and McCaul Villa. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden. Emily is survived by her loving husband, Dale; sons, Kelly (Vicky), Memramcook, New Brunswick; Perry, Great Village; Cory, Truro; grandchildren, Myra, Nolan, Ryan, Blake and Katie, who affectionately called her Mammie; sisters, Verna (Cedric) Storey, Minto, New Brunswick; Noreen (Bob) Jones, Lincoln, New Brunswick; brother, Harry Adams, Great Village; mother-in-law, Margaret McNutt, East Mines; sisters-in-law, Pauline Adams, British Columbia; Cathy Adams, Lower Debert; Norma McNutt, Bible Hill; brothers-in-law, Hank Kuylinch, Ajax, Ontario; Glenn McNutt, Debert; several nieces and nephews to whom she was known as “Auntie Em”. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Kuylinch; brothers, Louie and Ronnie; sister and brother (twins) in infancy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where a private family funeral service has been held, officiated by Reverend Don MacQueen. Spring interment will be held in Middle Road Cemetery, Debert. Donations in Emily’s memory to Lung Association of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
