Perley J. Gautreau

Perley J. Gautreau 1939 - 2004 Perley J. Gautreau, 65, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, January 30, 2004. Born in Barryville, NB on January 12, 1939 he was the son of the late Bazil and Gertrude (Ross) Gautreau. Perley was a retired businessman having owned Atlantic Hairfax, he also owned and operated businesses in Fredericton and Moncton having served his customers for over 47 years. He was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, and was a Grand Knight and a 4th member of the Knights of Columbus with the St. Augustines Council # 4920. He is survived by wife of 43 years, Dorothy (Hachey) Gautreau; daughters, Kimberley Gautreau (Chris Theriault) of Moncton, Cynthia (Danny) Cormier of Cap Pele, NB, and Lisa Gautreau of Moncton; sons, Todd (Paula) Gautreau of Issiah Rd, and Larry Gautreau (Leslie Corbett) of Moncton; three grandchildren, Nigel, Sebastien and Chelsie; sisters, Mary Agnes of Toronto, Treva (Laurie) of Jellico, ON, Theresa (Harold) of Saint John, Eva (Norman) of Burnt Church and Elsie (Regan) of South Esk; brothers, Ralph (Deanna) of Saint John, Leonard of Moncton, David (Sharon) of Mississauga,ON, and Arthur (Carol) of ON; step-sisters, Susan (Andy) Wilder, and Betty MacDonald both of Stoney Creek, ON, Emma Savoie of Neguac, NB, Loretta (Holden) DeRoche of Barryville, NB, Mary Ann (Robert) Douglas of New Jersey, NB Leona (Arthur) Ruff of Perth Andover, NB; step-brothers, William Ross (Luella) of Hamilton, ON, Jean Baptiste (John) Ross of New Jersey, NB. James "Jimmy" Ross (Noella) of Barryville, NB, Micheal Ross (Meredith) of Sorento, BC, Gerald Ross (Betty) of New Jersey, NB; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his stepmother, Mary Ann Gautreau; brothers, Norman and Ernie; step-sisters, Catherine Murray, Margerite Ross and Rose Marie Ross; step-brothers, Wilbert Ross, Joseph Ross, and Peter Ross. Visitation is at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, on Monday, February 2, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. and on Tuesday, February 3, from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 10:30am with Father J. Couture officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring. In Perley's memory, donations made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Elevator Fund at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated.
