Olive Lytle Smith
Olive Lytle Smith 1926 - 2004 Olive Lytle Smith of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, went home to be with her Lord on February 3, 2004. Born in Doaktown, NB, on November 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late L. Hardy and Annie May (Lyons) Amos. She was a resident of Sunny Brae for many years and was a faithful member of the Sunny Brae Baptist Church. After moving to Peoples Park Tower and Church Court, she became a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church. Olive was a Caregiver and Housekeeper for several families in both Sunny Brae and Moncton before being employed by Rodd's Parkhouse Inn, where she retired in 1991 after 17 years service. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Anna Belle Cusack of Riverview; sons, Richard (Rick) (Ruth) of Salisbury, Howard (Debby) of Moncton; four grandchildren, Meaghan Cusack, Christopher (Theresa) Smith, Joceyln Smith (Derrick Lewis) Andrew Smith and Carla Smith, two great grandchildren, Bailey Feltmate and Aleyxandra Smith. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Lloyd (Harold) Moncton, Bertha Doak of Doaktown, Margaret Dudley of Carroll's Crossing, and brother, George Amos of Doaktown, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother, Tennyson Amos, Fredericton and sister, Gretta Betts of Moncton. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, February 4, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at 1 pm Thursday, February 5, 2004 with Pastor Jay Guptill officiating. A fellowship reception will follow in the Garden View reception room of the funeral home. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunny Brae Baptist Church or the Moncton Wesleyan Church Building Fund.
