Edgar Belliveau
Edgar Belliveau 1931 - 2004 GRANDE-DIGUE, NB - Edgar Belliveau, 72, of Grande-Digue passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born in Dieppe, May 3, 1931, he was the son of the late Edgar and Adrienne (LeBlanc) Belliveau. Prior to his retirement, he was a building contractor and owner of Belliveau Construction Ltd. He attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. A loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, Edgar will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Jeannette (Surette) Belliveau, his three children, Robert (Hélène) of Grande-Digue, Carmen of Moncton, Marcia of Riverview; his four grandchildren, Chantal, Jesse, Christopher, and Jean; and his great grandson Samuel. He is also survived by four brothers, Adrien (Jeannette) and Léonard (Della) all of Dieppe, Rhéal (Annette) and Alfred "Fred" (Pauline) all of Moncton; five sisters, Alma Richard (late Hervé), Camilla Boudreau (Léonard), and Roberte Melanson (Paul) all of Dieppe, Ida Doucet (Léonard), and Pauline Richard (Gérard) all of Moncton. He was predeceased by a brother Antoine. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., Saturday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:35a.m. Funeral mass Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 11a.m. at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue. Interment in the parish cemetery. In Edgar's memory, donations to the oncology centre of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
