Ida Evelyn Tingley 1904-2004 SACKVILLE, N.B.- Ida E. Tingley, age 99, of Sackville, N.B., passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, N.B. Born in Midgic, N.B., on February 18, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Udavilla (Sears) Hicks. Ida was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church as well as a member of the Main Street Baptist Church Missionary Society. Ida is survived by four daughter,s Edith Fairweather of Moncton, N.B., Audrey (Adelard) Cormier of Dieppe, N.B., Martha (George) Schultz of Crossfield, Alberta and Merilyn Myra of Sussex, N.B.; two brothers, Arthur (Marg) Tingley of Frosty Hollow, N.B. and Harry Jr. (Evelyn) Tingley of Creston, BC.; 30 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry A. Tingley; eight brothers, Lionel, Lance, Lloyd, Lorne, Linwood, Chancey, Leslie and Beaman; four sisters Oressa, Lillian, Nada and Aura; one daughter Ruth; stepsons, Donald and Herman; Grandson Donald Jr.; granddaughter Joanne and sons in Law Rev. Phil Chisholm and Ron Fairweather. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Friday, February 6 , 2004 from 7 to 9 PM and on Saturday, February 7, 2004 from 2 to 4 P.M.. The funeral Service will be held from Main Street Baptist Church, Sackville, N.B. on Sunday, February 8, 2004 at 3 PM with Pastor Barry Todd officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Sackville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida's memory may be made to the Main Street Baptist Church Missions Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
