Thorald E. Allen The death of Thorald E. Allen, age 86, of Port Elgin, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 24, 2004. Born in Cadman's Corner, he was a son of the late Marvin and Clara (Crawford) Allen. He was a fisherman and farmer for many years, and worked for years for the Department of Highways. He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Allen, Port Elgin; two sons, Wade, Sackville, NB, and Bruce (Susan), Port Elgin; four daughters, Carla (Ron) Turner, Sackville, Ingrid (Greg) Brockelhurst, Dartmouth, NS, Tammy (Malcolm Phinney) Allen, Sackville, and Tracey (John) Pixley, Westerville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Becky, Lovitt-Daniel, Christopher, Logan, Jocelyn, Peter, David and Ethan; one brother, Weldon (Marie), Lunenburg, NS; one sister, Melina Murray, Sackville, NB. He was predeceased by brothers, Rennie, Baxter and Elroy. The remains have been forwarded for cremation. At the request of the family there will be no services.
