MR. JOHN REPIN
April 28, 1935 - February 11, 2009
John Repin, age 73, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at his home. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26 from River Park Memorial Chapel - 301 River Street West. John is survived by his loving family: his daughter Karen (Brent) Skrocki of Cold Lake; his brothers Pete (Mary) Repin of Nanaimo, BC, Bill Repin, Mike Repin and his sister Mary Anweiler all of Saskatoon. He was predeceased by his son Kim Repin; his parents William and Mary (Koshyna) Repin. John was born on April 28, 1935 in Perdue, SK. After finishing school in Arlee, John moved to Dawson Creek, back to Saskatoon and later to Unity, where he played baseball for the Unity Cardinals and worked for the Town of Unity until 1979 when he moved to Prince Albert. It is at the family's request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic. There will be a private family interment at a later date.
