Raymond Henry Wedge OROMOCTO, NB - The death of Raymond H. Wedge of Oromocto, NB occurred at the Veteran's Health Unit, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, March 2, 2004. Born in Moncton, NB he was the son of the late William and Eva (O' Brien) Wedge and husband of Laudia (Robichaud) Wedge. Survived by his wife, Laudia of Oromocto, NB; two sons, Raymond (Sheila) of Bellevue, Nebraska and Guy (Eufrocina) of Calgary, AB; three daughters, Priscilla Scott (Harry), Claudette Brochu (Francois) all of Rusagonis, NB and Joanne Barnes (David) of Ashley, Illinois; sixteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Robert (Francine) of Moncton, NB, William "Bill" (Jeanine) of Dieppe, NB, George (Rebecca) of Mississauga, ON and Lawrence (Yvonne) of Dieppe, NB; three sisters, Patricia Maillet, Lucille Cormier (Raymond) and Jeanette LeBlanc (Claude) all of Moncton, NB and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; eldest son, Patrick; one sister, Anita and two brothers, Clarence and Alfred. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, March 4, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Friday, March 5, 2004 at 12:00 noon. The Oromocto Legion Branch # 93 will hold a tribute service following the funeral mass. A reception will follow in the church hall. Rev. Ken Weir as Celebrant. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. www.oromoctofh.com
