Marguerite Melanson SHEDIAC RIVER, NB - Marguerite Melanson, 86, wife of the late Raymond Melanson, of Shediac River passed away Friday, March 5, 2004 at her residence. Born May 3, 1917 in P.E.I. she was the daughter of the late Alfred Arsenault, and the late Edith MacDonald. She is survived by her daughter, Evelyne Poirier (Albert) of Shediac River; a sister, Yvonne Sherwood (Otty) of Saint-John; a brother, Joseph (Alice) of Shediac River; a sister-in-law, Dora Smith of Moncton; granddaughters, Christine, Francine; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Jacob; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond (1990); sisters, Edith, Nora, Dinah, Lillianne, Eveline; brothers, Wilfred, and Willard. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (5323297). Visiting hours Sunday from 7-9 p.m., Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:35). The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday March 8, 2004 at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
