V. Patsy Praestegaard 1940 - 2004 MIRAMICHI, NB - Viola Patsy Praestegaard, of Air Force Crescent, Miramichi Retirement Community, passed away a the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday evening, at the age of 63. Born in Auburnville, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Eva (Kingston) McLenaghan. She was a homemaker; a member of St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi; a former employee of Sears Canada, in Toronto; a former employee of Dept. of National Defense, Toronto; a former lottery booth employee in Toronto. She is survived by one daughter, Catherine (Cathy) Locke (Peter), of Calgary, Alta.; one son, Villy Praestegaard Jr., of Toronto; one sister, Debbie Bourque (Timmy), of Miramichi; three brothers, Douglas McLenaghan and Junior McLenaghan (Debbie), all of Miramichi, and Lloyd McLenaghan, of Fredericton; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Willard McLenaghan. By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held from St. Marys Anglican Church, Miramichi, on Thursday, March 11, 2004, at 2pm, conducted by Rev. Alan Reynolds. Interment will be in the family lot of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Bay du Vin, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
