Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Left with fond and loving memories her devoted husband of 63 years Pat Atkins; three children: Elaine (Art) Wells, Bren (Daisy) Atkins and Martina (Bob) Bassett; five grandchildren: Sean (Janet) Wells, Dana (Blair) Gulliver, Tanya Atkins-Canning and Jeff and Melissa Bassett; four great-grandchildren: Katie Wells, Evan Gulliver and Hope and Kelsey Canning. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
