Milfred Douglas MacPhail

Milfred Douglas MacPhail EDMONTON, AB - We were recently deeply saddened to receive news of the sudden death of Milfred MacPhail in Edmonton, Alberta. Born in Moncton, he is the son of William and Pauline (Rogers) MacPhail. After attending Harrison Trimble HighSchool and the University of New Brunswick, he moved to Alberta in the early 1980's, and resided there until his death. In addition to his career as a Computer Systems Analyst, Milfred will be remembered for his great love of all sports, music, reading, and his trips home for family visits, seafood feasts, and to play "200". His great love of sports led him to many happy hours of Rugby participation with the Druid football club in Edmonton, and on trips to various locations around the world. He will be lovingly remembered by wife Susan, of Edmonton; children Jared Michael and Caitlyn Pauline at home with mother, Sandy. Milfred is also mourned by his father, William MacPhail; sister, Violet (Phil) Budd; niece Tara, and nephew Bill (Michelle) Renton, brother-in-law Garry (Joanne) Renton; and great nephew, Jakob, of Moncton; stepson, Scott (Desiree) Mills and grandchildren Nathan and Julia of Stony Plain, Alberta. He was predeceased by his mother Pauline (Rogers) MacPhail. Milfred is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who will sorely miss his wit and humour, and vacation visits home.
