Simonne LeBlanc DIXON POINT, NB - Simonne LeBlanc, 59, wife of Aubrey LeBlanc of Dixon Point, NB passed away at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, SainteAnne de Kent, NB, on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 after a brief illness. Born in Cocagne, NB on August 27, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Adelard Bastarache and the late Elina Allain. She was an animator at the Pays de la Sagouine, playing the role of Salomé. She attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. She was a member of Bouctouche Golden Age Club and an avid Bingo fan. Simonne is survived by her husband, Aubrey LeBlanc of Dixon Point; three sons, Yvon of Bouctouche, Charles (Yvette) of Cocagne, Maurice (Rachel) of Fredericton; four brothers, Rev Yvon Bastarache of Cuba, Gerard (Jeannita), Normand (Doris) both of Saint-Thomas de Kent, Robert of Cocagne; one special granddaughter, Christina; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother, Roger. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., Bouctouche with visitation on Friday, April 2 from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
