Rita Gallant 1928 - 2004 At the Dr Georges-L. Dumont in Moncton, Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at the age of 75, passed away Rita Gallant (Goguen), spouse of the late Everald Gallant, residing in Cocagne. Born June 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edouard Goguen and the late Rosanna Arsenault. She is survived by five daughters, Thérèse Roy (Claude) from Cocagne, Bernadette Pellerin (Fred Gallant) from St-Anselme, Hélène Belliveau (Robert) from Grande-Digue, Paulette Gallant (Gilles Gaudet) and Monique MacGillivary (Lloyd) both from Cocagne; six sons, Donald (Noella) from Cocagne, Vincent from Irishtown, Valerie, Gilles (Susan), Edouard and Roland all from Cocagne; three sisters, Anna (late Joe Roy) from Lynn Mass., Stella Roy (Irene) and Phyllis Roy (Gérard) both from Cocagne; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Rita Dawson from Dieppe and Edna Goguen from Moncton; one brother in law, Gerard W. LeBlanc from Cap-Pelé, as well as many nieces and nephew. Mrs Gallant was predeceased by two sons, Bernard and Roméo and one brother, Eloie Goguen. Mrs Gallant ashes will wake at the St-Peter Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne, Saturday, April 3, 2004 from 9am until the funeral. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3rd, 2004 at the St-Peter Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita s memory to the Hearth and Stroke foundation.
