Irene M. Clancy 1928 - 2004 Irene Clancy, 75, wife of Robert, of Cardigan Lane, Moncton, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2004 at the Dr. G. L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Halifax, May 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna (Gladwin) Dowell. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert J. Clancy; beloved mother of, Donna Young (Brent) of Moncton, Coleen Clancy (Dina) of Montreal, Stephen Clancy (Penny) of Moncton; also surviving are grandchildren, Kaylie and Cherin; nephew, Bob Chaignon of BC; nieces, Barbara Casey and Donna Moulton of Halifax. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Robert and six siblings. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. With deep respect for Irene's wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home, a private family service will be held. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
