Marthe Frenette 1912 - 2004 Miss Marthe Frenette of the Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton and formerly of Main St., Shediac passed away on Monday, April 5, 2004 at the age of 91 years and 11 months at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born in Renier, Minnesota, April 12, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Jean Frenette and the late Marthe Doucet. Prior to her retirement, she was the past proprietor of Frenette Grocery in Shediac for 41 years. She was a past member of la Légion de Marie, Foie et Partage, Cursillo and the Golden Age Club and a past volunteer at the Villa Providence and la Vestiaire St. Joseph all in Shediac. Marthe will be sadly missed by her loving family, her sister Sr. Estelle Frenette, n.d.s.c. of Moncton and several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, grandnieces, grand-nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by four brothers: Gérard, Hector, Alonzo and Léon Frenette. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Thursday from 9a.m. until time of departure at 9:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 10a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at St. Joseph R.C.
