Ludivine Richard 1917 - 2004 ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Peacefully at la Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on April 8, 2004. Mrs. Ludivine Richard was the widow of the late Emile Richard of Acadie Siding. Born in Acadieville on July 5, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Simon Daigle and the late Marguerite (Barrieau) Daigle. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Rosaire) Lachance of Montmagny, QC; one son, Paul-Emile (Eleanor) Richard of Quispamsis; three half sisters, Irène (Firmin Nowlan) of St. Louis de Kent, Roseline (Late Emile Babineau) of Richibouctou-Village, Imelda (Lionel Raymond) of Saint Moise, QC; two half brothers, Arsène (Rita) Daigle and Fidele (late Thérèse) Daigle of St. Louis de Kent; and six grandchildren, Robert Richard, Michelle Richard, Sylvie Galimi, Rejean Lachance, Marylene Lachance, Nadine Lachance; and ten great grandchildren. Ludivine was predeceased by her husband, Emile in 1947; three brothers, Joseph (Eveline) Daigle and Emile Daigle of St. Louis de Kent, Nazaire (late Nora) Daigle of Acadieville; two sisters, Yvonne (late François Richard and Jean Daigle), Marguerite (late Maxime Poirier) of Acadieville; one adopted sister, Léa (Louis-Emile Gallant) of St. Louis de Kent. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Richard taught for 31 years at various schools in Kent County. She was an associate member of the Sisters of Notre Dame Congregation. The family will receive visitors at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent on Saturday from 7 to 9, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday from 2PM until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent, Monday, April 12, 2004 at 4pm.
