Russell William Fraser MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Russell William Fraser, husband of Grace (Blackie) Fraser of Winslow Street, Miramichi passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 76. Born in Plaster Rock, NB, he was the son of the late Sydney and Emily (MacKnight) Fraser. He was retired from NB Power. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Wellington Street, Miramichi. He was a member of the church choir and a former member of the Session. Besides his wife, Grace; he is survived by one daughter, Barbara Butcher (Andrew) of Saint John; three sons, Lorne (Lona) of Edmundston, NB, Rev. John (Barbara) of Saint John, Carl (Linda) of Dundas, Ont.; three sisters, Avis McCutchen of Chatham, Ont.; Hazel McCallum of Tabusintac; Susan Annie Palmer of Tabusintac; grandchildren, Lowell, Tanya, Lance, Christina, Loren, Marc, Hayleigh. Predeceased by his parents; one brother, Lorne; one sister, Maude Palmer. Mr. Russell William Fraser is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi with visitation Monday, April 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 2 pm from St. Andrew's United Church, Wellington Street, Miramichi with Rev. Charlene Maguire officiating, assisted by Rev. Ron Feltmate. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac, later in the spring. At the request of the family, donations to St. Andrew's United Church, Miramichi Regional Hospital Palliative Care, or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
