Hilda Anne Arsenault 1913 - 2004 Hilda Anne Arsenault, of Protem Seniors Residence, Moncton, passed away at her residence on Friday, April 9, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Born in Miramichi City, NB on August 24, 1913 she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Scott) Barry. Hilda retired from teaching at the Gunningsville Elementary School from 19611978, she was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, A member of the retired teachers association, also she was a member of a local seniors group. Hilda had a great love for the Miramichi and enjoyed her visits over the past few years, her greatest pride and joy and source of many stories were her three grandsons, Kevin, Michael, and Colin of Dartmouth. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Janice and her husband, David Steeves of Dartmouth; three grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Andrew in 1961; sister, Edna and brothers, Byron and Jimmy. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 from 7:00-9:00pm. There will be a prayer vigil and sharing of memories of Hilda at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 1:00 pm with Father Jeff Doucette Officiating. Interment will be in Shediac Road Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Alzheimer's Society of South East NB would be appreciated by her family.
