Grover William Hopper COLPITTS SETTLEMENT, NB - Grover William Hopper of Colpitts Settlement, age 81, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born June 11, 1922 in Little River, Albert Co., he was a son of the late John and Annie (Geldart) Hopper. He was a retired carpenter, woodsman and farmer. He attended Colpitts United Church. He is survived by his second wife, Ethel (Banks); daughter, Linda Rose (James) of Hillsborough; son, Conrad G. (Beverly) of Little River; sister, Willa Ryan of Toronto; grandchildren, Amy (Andrew) of Portage Vale, Dawn (Wayne) of Riverview, Andrew (Andrea) of Moncton, Natisha Stashko (Brian) of Edmonton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Erma (Steeves); brother, Carman. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Sunday from 79pm and Monday 7-9pm. The funeral will be held from the Colpitts United Church on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 2:00 pm, Rev. Zwicker officiating. Burial will be held in the Wilson Cemetery at a later date.
