Died peacefully on February 17, 2009, at the age of 85. Mary is survived by her children, Don (Janice), Cheryl, Judy (Doug); her grandchildren, Alisa (Mark), Erin (Josh), Abby (Stuart), Sarah (Chris), Jessie (Murdoch); and her great-grandchildren, Samantha and Olivia. She was a wonderful and loving Mom, Nana and Great-Nana. We love you and miss you Nana.
Mary was enlisted in the navy as a WREN during the war, and shortly after the war ended she married Don. She loved her antiques, had a great eye for decorating, loved to read and entertain, and she worked side by side with her husband of 61 years in various businesses. Outliving her soul mate, Don, by only seven weeks, she could not live without him. Don and Mary will be laid to rest together on a sunny day this summer in Picton, Ontario.
