Harold (Mike) Sweeney 1920 - 2004 Mike Sweeney of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, April 11, 2004, at the age of 83. Born on July 27,1920, he was the son of the late William and Lena (Zellers) Sweeney. Mike had been employed for many years with Swifts Canada until its closure. An avid sports fan, Mike enjoyed competing in bowling and darts and was regularly seen taking his long walks in and around Riverview. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Shirley Leger (late Robert) of Cambridge, ON., Linda McGovern (Eric) of Moncton, Pam Geldart (Bob) of Kitchener, ON.; a brother, Les; sisters, May, Betty, and Jean; grandchildren, John, Gary, Gail, Heather, Becky, Jillian, and Laura; six great grand children, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two wives, Anne Wylie and Jeannette Dupuis; sisters, Vera, Evelyn, and a special friend Valerie Gallant. At his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
