Angeline Mary (Thayer) Blanchard 1921 - 2004 Mrs. Angeline Mary (Thayer) Blanchard, 83, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the Spencer Memorial Home. Born in New York City, New York, January 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank Thayer and the late Angeline Shine. She worked in a munitions plant during World War II in Montréal and was a Red Cross Blood Donor (100+ Donations) and a past member of the C.W.L. A lover of literature and a poet, she was an ardent church goer and participated in several parish activities. She is survived by her children, Patty Blanchard (Marc Beaudoin) of Dieppe, Valerie Blanchard (Kim Raymond) of Bellingham, Washington, Claire Blanchard-McGrath (Lawrence) of Saint John, Terry Gignac (Michael) of Sault Ste Marie, ON., Thomas of Moncton, Robert (Robin) of Vancouver, B.C., Basil (Cathy Healy) of Miramichi and Vincent (Wendy) of Lower Sackville, N.S. and fifteen grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Baptiste Blanchard. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church St., Moncton (8581900) with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 11a.m. Interment in the SaintAnselme Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saint-Anselme.
