Emery Saulnier

Emery Saulnier 1926 - 2004 BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Emery Saulnier, 77, of rue Saulnier, Bouctouche, NB, husband of Doris (Arsenault) Saulnier, passed away at the Dr. Georges.L Dumont Hospital, on Friday, April 23, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Bouctouche on October 11, 1926, he was the son of the late Clément Saulnier and Mélina Bastarache. He was a construction painter, and attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. He was a member of the Bouctouche Horseman Association, and was an avid lover of horses. Besides his wife, Doris; he is survived by five daughters, Mélina Maillet (Yvon LeBlanc), Alice Dallaire (Fernand), both of Bouctouche, Florence Saulnier (Gilles Arsenault) of NotreDame, Rose-Mai LeBlanc (Rickey), Lucie Bourque (Roger) both of Dieppe; seven sons, Jean-Paul (Nicole) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Adrien (Florence), Aldéo (Phyllis), Normand, Bobby (Dorine), Emery Jr. (Gisèle) all of Bouctouche, Ronald (Simone) of SaintAntoine; three sisters, Judith Désprés, Dorice LeBlanc, Mildred Collette, all of Bouctouche; 19 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two daughters, Marie-Lucie (1961), MarieFlorence (1958); two sons-in-law, Désiré Maillet (1997), Edmond Gagnon (1979); four brothers, Eddie, Acquila, Adelard, Aldéric; and three sisters, Anita, Emma, and Marguerite. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home but they will receive family and friends at the Bouctouche Golden Age Club immediately following the funeral Mass. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at 6:30pm at SaintJean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
