Della A. Rice Della A. Rice, 102, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, April 23, 2004. Born in Berryton, daughter of the late William T. and Mary L. (Mitton) Wilson. Della recently received the 50 year Charter Member Certificate of Uplands Baptist Church, Life Member of W.M.S., very active lady all her life and enjoyed all types of needlework, reading and most of all her family. Della will be sadly missed by her daughter, Grace I. McCrea, Moncton; grandchildren, Nancy E. Thorne (Eric), Salisbury, Susan L. Steeves (Richard), Linda A. Thorne (Wade), John H. Rice (Linda), Ann MacAulay (late Jim), Elizabeth I. McCrea, Moncton, James H. McCrea (Lynne), Oakville, ON; great grandchildren, Sandra Parker (Steven), Allison, Andrew Calvert, Moncton, Tim Calvert (Megan), Ottawa, ON, Jeff and Ryan Thorne, Moncton, Christopher and Jordan Rice, Moncton, Pamela Lewis (Brad), Salisbury, Becky Thorne, Moncton, Kimberley and Jaime MacAulay, Moncton, Jenny MacAulay Bryant (Trevor), Calgary, AB, Michelle McCrea, Fredericton; great great grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah, Dylan, Shelby, Ethan, Isaac; sisters, Marguerite Stratton, Moncton, Dorothy Medlen, Ottawa, ON; several nieces and nephews; step grandchildren, Dwight Perry (Deanne) and children, Upper Coverdale, Natalie McGlashing (Paul) and children, Riverview. Della was predeceased by her husband, Henry G. Rice (1974); son, Ron (2000); brother, Logan; sisters, Helen, Juanita, Zelda (Ted) and two infant sisters.
