Parker A. Wheaton 1921 - 2004 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Parker Arthur Wheaton, husband of Margaret Wheaton, of Green Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday morning, May 11, 2004, at the age of 83. Born in Midgic, Westmorland Co., N.B., he was the son of the late Milford and Jennifer (Estabrooks) Wheaton. He was an adherent of St. James and St. Johns United Church, Miramichi; a retired employee of Imperial Oil Ltd. (31 Years). He was a Veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the 8th Princess Louise Unit, N.B. Hussars in England, France, Italy, Belgium and Holland. He is survived by his wife, the former E. Margaret Dunn; two daughters, Patricia Kidd, of Sarnia, Ont., and Lynda Leclerc (Gilles), of Moncton; six grandchildren, David, Marc, Rachelle, Jeff, Jason and Jennifer; four great grandchildren, Casandra, Parker, Isaac and Shivanya. He was predeceased by one son, James A. Wheaton; one brother, Hollis Wheaton; four sisters, Georgina Beal, Bertie Leach, Rhoda Wheaton and Margaret Wheaton. Parker loved nature and the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. Visitation will be held from Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Thursday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, May 14, 2004, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Sandrabelle Rogers. Interment will be in Moorefield Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors choice, would be appreciated by the family.
