Elie Cormier 1940 - 2004 ALDOUANE, NB - Elie Cormier, 63, husband of Nelda (Vautour) Cormier, passed away at home on Saturday, May 15, 2004 after a sudden illness. Born in Claire-Fontaine, NB, he was the son of the late Edmond Cormier and Elise (Martin) Cormier. He was a Fish Buyer and an avid card player. He attended St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Rémi, Dave (Lisette), Edmond, all of Aldouane; four sisters, Yvonne Vautour (Jackie), Claire-Fontaine, Elisa Cormier, Bouctouche, Maria Leclerc (Fernand), Allardville, Barbara Cormier, Oshawa, ON; six brothers, Tilmon (Georgina), Escuminac, Walter, Cloris, Allison, all of Aldouane, John, Frankie, both of Oshawa, ON; three grandchildren, Jean-René, André and Melanie. He was predeceased by one sister, Odia Cormier. Remains are resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto, with visitation on Monday, May 17, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Tuesday, May 18, 2004 from 9am until time of the funeral. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 11am. Interment will be held in Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
