Gladys Mary Duplessis-Goguen SHEDIAC, NB - Gladys Mary Duplessis-Goguen, 80, of the Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Mountain Road, Moncton, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born June 17, 1923 in Hillsborough, she was the daughter of the late Octave and Melina (Surette) Duplessis. She was a Veteran of the Second World War, with the WACS. She is survived by six daughters, Louise Vallée (Robert), Josephine Tremblay (Victor), all of Montréal, Jean McGrath (Jim) or Toronto, Melina McCray of Saint-John, Ida Goguen and Jeannine Goguen, both of Moncton; four sons, André-Paul (Janice), Telex (Rose), Léonard (Laura), all of Moncton, Alcide (Cindy) of Montréal; a sister, Mathilda of California; 32 grandchildren and by 20 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, André; she is predeceased by a daughter, Alfreda and by a brother, Arsène. Remains are resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Monday one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be held from Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton on Monday, May 17, 2004 at 10am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
