Clarence Harley Smith 1937 - 2004 SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Harley Smith, age 66, of Sackville, N.B. occurred on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at his home in Sackville, N.B. Born on November 2, 1937, in Stellarton, N.S., he was the son of the late Clifford and Doris (Reynolds) Smith. Harley was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #26 in Sackville, N.B. and was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Madelyn Smith of Sackville, N.B.; one daughter, Melinda (Lee) Blakney of Lower Sackville, N.B.; one son, Darren Smith of Sackville, N.B.; two sisters, Connie (James) Baizley of Dartmouth, N.S. and Carolyn Smith of Dartmouth, N.S.; one brother, Clyde Smith of Vancouver, B.C; granddaughter, Brittany Blakney and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Clifford Jr. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or funeral service by request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harley's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
