Laura Daigle 1915 - 2004 Laura Daigle, 88, of Richibucto, NB, wife of the late Joachim Daigle passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Sunday May 24, 2004. Born in Rexton, NB, she was the daughter of the late George Hebert and Eleanor (Vautour) Hebert . A life long resident of Richibucto, Laura was a member of St. Louis de Gonzague Parish. she was a charter member of the C.W.L. serving in various positions including President and Treasurer. She, with her husband, Joachim Daigle, who predeceased her in 1992, owned and operated the Alpen Glow Motel & Cabins. Laura is survived and sadly missed by her loving family, Deacon Vincent Daigle (Marlene) of Toronto, ON, Jeanne Richard (Telex) of Richibouctou Village; Father Claude Daigle of Miramichi, Margaret Rose Ouellette (Leo) of Saint John, Jack Daigle (Julie) of Little Aldouane; one sister, Diane McPherson (Mac); 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Babineau (Alyre), Flora Parker (Bill), Nora Appleton (ken) and five brothers, Ted (Andrea), Placide (Joan), Leo (Rita), Raymond, Edmond. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday 9:00 am until departure for funeral. A prayer Vigil will be held Tuesday evening at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto, Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at 11:00 am. Internment in Parish Cemetery.
