Mrs. Sarah (Sally) King formerly of Nelson-Miramic Wednesday
Sarah (Sally) King FREDERICTON, NB - The death of Mrs. Sarah (Sally) King formerly of Nelson-Miramichi occurred at Pinegrove Nursing Home in Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, May 26, 2004. Born in Barnaby River on November 28, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (McGrath) Brennan. She was a past member of Saint Patrick's C.W.L. and the Woman's Institute. She is survived by her daughters, Lourdes (Joseph) Mondoux of Ottawa; Mary Darlene (Peter) Toner of Saint John; Colleen (Thomas) Daley of Miramichi and Frances of Fredericton. She is also survived by six grandsons; three granddaughters; five great grandchildren and a special grand-daughter-inlaw, Debbie (Don) Daley who provided loving care during Sally's recent illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert and son, Gerald; her sisters, Mary, Genevieve, Clare, Geraldine and her brother, John. Visitation will be held on May 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Maher's Funeral Home, University Avenue, Miramichi. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29 at 11 am at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Nelson-Miramichi. Interment will be held at Malcolm's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gerald King Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
