Bernadette Girouard SAINTE MARIE DE KENT, NB - Bernadette Girouard, 53, of Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB, passed away at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Monday, May 31, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB on May 4, 1951, she was the daughter of Neil Girouard and the late Irène Allain. Bernadette attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Ste-Marie de Kent. Bernadette is survived by her father, Neil Girouard; four sisters, Thérèse Lafond (Rhéal) of Dorion-Vaudreuil (Qc), Cécile Lafond (Jean-Guy) of Beaconfield (Qc), Lucia Richard (Normand) and Pierrette Boucher (Michel) both of Moncton; one brother, Yvon (Hectorine) of Shediac; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother at age 3 months, Joseph Yvon. Resting at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Ste-Marie de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:30 to 6:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Ste-Marie de Kent on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
