Olive C. Davis 1924 - 2004 Olive C. Davis, age 80, wife of Harold "Hal" Davis of Riverview, NB, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on June 10, 2004. Born in Spaniard's Bay, Nfld, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Emmie Gosse. Olive graduated from the General Hospital School of Nursing in St. John's, Nfld., and worked for many years as a public health and private duty nurse. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Riverview, a lifetime director of the Moncton Mental Health Board, Past President of the Canadian Red Cross, Moncton Area, as well as, Past President and lifetime member of the Moncton Nurses Auxilliary. Besides her husband Hal, Olive is survived by her son, Don (Kim) of Richmond Hill, O.N.; daughter, Pam of Fredericton, N.B.; and her grandchildren, Walter, Patrick and Catherine. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her only sister, Clarice French. In lieu of flowers, donations in Olive's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society, St. John the Baptist Building Fund or charity of donor's choice. By her request, there will be no visitation. Memorial service to be held Monday, June 14, 2004 at 1pm from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Riverview, with reception immediately following the service.
