Alyer DesRoches 1936 - 2004 Alyer DesRoches, 68, of Villa du Repos, formerly of St. Philippe, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004 at his residence. Born in Summerside, PE, he was the son of the late Art and the late Denise (née: Arsenault) DesRoches. Mr. DesRoches is survived by his wife, Mary (née: Bastarache); one daughter, Kathy (Vince) of Oshawa, ON; two sons, Willie (Loretta) and Alyer (Paula), both of Oshawa; five step sons: Armand (Dora) of St. Philippe, Roger of Moncton, Levi (Laurie), Ed, Rick (Tina), all of Oshawa; three brothers: Willis of St. Anselme, Art of Oakville, ON and Len of London, ON; several grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one step daughter, Murielle; two sisters: Marie and Theresa and also by one brother, Tony. Visitation was held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday, also Monday, June 14, 2004 from 9 am until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 14, 2004 at 10:00 am. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
