Florence Bella Abraham 1920 - 2004 Florence Bella Abraham, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, June 18, 2004 at the age of 83. Born on June 29, 1920 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elinor (Russell) Swim. After graduating from the Saint John General School of Nursing in 1943, Bella married and raised her family in Halifax and Riverview where she resided until her death. A loving mother and grandmother she was a member of the Moncton Golf and Country Club, Beaver Curling Club, an avid bridge player and in early years, a member of the C.W.L. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Thomas (Tim) of Riverview; son, Arthur J. "Buddy" Abraham of Ottawa; grandchildren, Jennifer and Adam of Calgary and Matthew of Riverview. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur W. Abraham; a brother, Stuart Swim and a dear friend, Dorothy Northrup Reid. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. (857-9544). There will be no visitation at the funeral home at the deceased request. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Riverview, on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 11:00 am with Fr. Jeff Doucette officiating.
