Maurice Lahanky 1921 - 2004 Maurice Lahanky, 83, of Lakeville, NB passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 22, 2004. Born in the Ukraine, he was the son of the late Joseph and Katherene (Hreczylo) Lahanky. Maurice was an avid card player and was a member of the Moncton Golf and Country Club, the Beaver Curling Club and was a member of the Nummies. He is survived by a special friend; Helen Cormie, a son, Igor of the Ukraine; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Don Lahanky and his wife Anne of Moncton; several nieces and nephews; his former wife Irene and by his extended family, Jamie and Cheryl Cormie, Bruce and Carol Cormie, Brian and Maria Cormie and by his grandchildren, Ryan and Blaine. At Maurice's request there is no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and his interment will be in the Ukraine. Donations in Maurice's memory made to the N.B.
