Donald Wallace 1940-2004 Donald Wallace, 64, of Pointe-duChne passed away on Monday, June 21, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Pointe-du-Chne, March 29, 1940, he was the son of the late Glenn and Stella (Gallant) Wallace. Prior to his retirement, Donald was a fisherman and a past employee with Paturel's. He was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #33, Shediac. Donald is survived by a sister, Louise Blanch of Montreal, QC.; a sister-in-law, Carolynn Wallace of N.S.; a special caregiver, Doreen and by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister, Gloria; and two brothers, Walter and Darrell. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of departure at 9:45a.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-du-Chne on Friday, June 25, 2004 at 10a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac. The family wishes to thank the staff of the I.C.U. Dept. of the Moncton Hospital and the nurses of the Shediac Extra-Mural for their compassion and care shown to Donald during his illness.
