Greta V. Edgett 1932 - 2004 Greta Edgett,71, wife of Francis of Chandler Crescent, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 22, 2004. Born in Shubenacadie, NS, on July 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Georgie (Phillips) Elliott. Greta retired from the CNR offices Moncton, following many years of service. She was active in the Elliott Clan Society, a member of St. John's United Church and enjoyed many winters in Dunedin, Fla. Greta is survived by her husband of 52 years Francis, daughters; Debbie Boudreau (Greg) of Bathurst, Kathy Foster (John) of Moncton, sisters Rena Bleakney (Carl) of Riverside-Albert, Myrna Stewart (Ian) of Riverside-Albert, grandchildren; Mathieu & Jaclyn Boudreau, Sarah & Adam Foster, as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, June 24 from 7 to 9 PM and from 1 PM Friday until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. A reception for Greta's family and friends will immediately follow in the Garden View Reception Room of the funeral home. Donations to the NB Kidney Foundation or The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
