Amelia (Millie) Spence MURRAY CORNER, NB - The death of Amelia (Millie) R. Spence, age 90, of Murray Corner, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 24, 2004. Born in Millville, NS, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Bessie (Weagle) McLellan. She was an active member of the Murray Corner United Church. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Marion (Gerald) McLellan, Oxford; her granddaughters, Gail (Kirk) Woodman, Lower Sackville, NS, Beverly (Donald) Hood, Charlottetown, PEI; two step-grandchildren, Kerry (Bruce) Fraser, St. John's Nfld, and Kelly (Jeff) Harvey, Kingston, ON; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; and five brothers, Ernest, Percy, Clyde, George and Freeman. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, (364-1300) 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, NB on Sunday, June 27, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will take place from the Murray Corner United Church on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 2 PM, Rev. Ken Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery.
