Joan M. Ward Joan M. Ward, 61, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, June 24, 2004. Born in West Bathurst, daughter of the late Sydney and Elizabeth (Hynes) Kent. Joan was a retired Office Clerk at Armour Transport with 22 years service, member of Wesley Memorial United Church. She enjoyed bowling, however her love and attention to her family was most important. Joan will be sadly missed by her husband of over 42 years, Gene A. Ward; daughters, Debbie Ward (Mike Bastarache), Pam Ward (Roger Barry), Moncton; sons, Brian (Jennifer), Moncton; Todd (Stacey), Riverview; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Tara; sisters, Helen White (Garnet), Shulia, NS; Pat Kent, Thunder Bay, ON; Susan Doucet, Bathurst; brothers, Steven (Betty), Bathurst, Allie (Lucille), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Donald. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Sunday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Monday June 28, 2004, 11am. Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. Reception following the Service. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
