Victoria "Vicki" Underwood 1908 - 2004 Victoria "Vicki" Underwood, 95, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, June 24, 2004. Born in Amherst, NS. was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Margaret (Holmes) Legacy. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and a 50 year member of the CWL. Vicki was an avid curler and was a Past President and a member of the Beaver Curling Club. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Valerie Ann Murphy and her husband Terry of Toronto, and Barbara Vigars and her husband Ron of Westport, Conn., her son, Barrie J. Underwood and his wife Marilyn of Saint John, NB. three grandchildren Ronna, Michele and Lesley, one sister, Margaret Hickey of Halifax and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Terance "Ted" Underwood and by eight siblings. There is no visitation at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church Botsford St. Moncton on Monday, June 28, 2004 at 1:30 pm with Father Peter McKee officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the church hall immediately following the funeral mass.
