Kevin "Jim" Steeves 1959 - 2004 Jim Steeves, 44, beloved husband of Rita (Haddad) and father of Tara, of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, June 25, 2004 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, October 17, 1959, the son of Cedric and Lillian (Hubbard) Steeves. He was employed for many years at Tandem Fabrics, Mill Road, Moncton. Jim enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his passion was following his favorite NASCAR driver #88 Dale Jarrett. In addition to his wife, daughter and parents, he is survived by sisters Joyce (Gordon), Susan (Wilfred), and Wendy (Joe), all of Edmonton, AB., brothers John (Cindy) and Steven (Tina) of Moncton, Wayne (Kelly) of London, ON., and half brother Kevin Williston (Jennifer) of Moncton; nine nieces and nine nephews; several sisters and brothers-in-law, also surviving is his Mother-in-law, Alva Haddad, with whom Jim resided. At his request there will be no visitation prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, June 30 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, followed immediately by a reception in the Garden View Room. Donations to Jim's wife or The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, Oncology Department, would be greatly appreciated. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
