John W. Scott WESTCOCK, NB - The death of John W. Scott, age 66, of Westcock, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Saturday, June 26, 2004. Born in Clyde River, PEI, he was a son of the late Harold and Edna (Clyburne) Scott. John was retired from CN Railway, and the Department of Transportation, Sackville. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Maxine of Westcock; his son, Steven (Nancy), California; two daughters, Carolyn (Sean) Allen and Nancy (Craig) Briggs, both of Fredericton; their mother, Catherine Scott, Charlottetown; one step-daughter; Nickie (Jim) Cole, Westcock; one step-son, Rodney Cooke, BC; nine grandchildren; four brother, Alden (Hazel), Percy (Janis), Cecil (Marilyn) and Dalvy, all of Clyde River, PEI. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, (364-1300), 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB, with visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 11 am, Rev. Basil Lowery officiating. Burial will follow at the Westcock Cemetery.
